iF DESIGN AWARD 2017

Metalmobil is one of the winners of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, a world-renowned design prize. Since over 60 years the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized as a reference of quality for exceptional design. The iF label is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most coveted design prizes in the world. Each year, Germany’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes this important competition: the iF DESIGN AWARD.
The winning product, Nassau designed by Marc Sadler, has won in the category Products for Public and Retail uses. Nassau has won over the 58-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, for its design, its large choice of colours and for its sturdy yet light structure.
The competition was intense: over 5,500 entries were submitted from 59 countries, all of them hoping to receiving this prestigious seal of quality.
We are now waiting for the awards ceremony on 10 March during which the 75 winning projects will be honored in grand style on the stage of the BMW Welt in Munich. Metalmobil is proud to take part and receive this important award dedicated to Nassau and its designer Marc Sadler.
